In today's world, students and adults find information everywhere. Using social media like Instagram, Skype and e-mail can be a fun way to communicate with friends and family members, especially the ones far away. Besides communications, there are many sources of good information to use for research, homework, or just to learn. Students and parents can read electronic books or use learning websites, like Khan Academy or the Atlanta Fulton Public Library's eResources. Some people learn new skills, like dance steps or playing an instrument, by watching YouTube. Discovery Education and Georgia Public Broadcasting provide free electronic textbooks, and students using Kuno tablets or their personal iPads can use any of these resources. Remember, you can always ask your media specialist, Jennifer Burke, for assistance. What online sources have you used to help you with homework or to learn something new?
